Has Justin Bieber Finally Cut Drugs And Alcohol From His Life?
(PRWEB) November 20, 2014 -- Finding fame at an extremely early age can corrupt even the straightest shooting teenagers. And Justin Bieber has certainly had his fair share of scandals during his first few years in the spotlight.
But now, the Baby singer, at the tender age of 20, appears to be putting his drug and alcohol-fuelled past behind him, according to a Christian Post article dated 18 November.
It seems the star has enlisted the help of a pastor in New York City to help him find his way, with regular prayer sessions and Bible study classes. In order to ensure he remains focused, the pop star has even disconnected from any friends who may amount to being a bad influence.
Even though Justin remains under the legal age for consuming alcohol in the US, it hasn't stopped him from abusing it. He had a particularly disastrous tour of Europe last year, where his antics in London (where the legal drinking age is just 18), brought him dozens of negative headlines, thousands of disappointed fans, and even more livid parents.
Bieber has also faced mounting legal troubles, with allegations that some of his crimes have been committed while he was under the influence. He was caught drag racing in Miami last year, and there had been concerns that he was on drugs at the time. However, the star insisted he had only taken cough medication.
The performer has not confirmed whether or not he is trying to clean up his act publicly, and no comment of his new path has been made on Facebook or Twitter.
Many celebrities have fallen victim to their own success – and the perils of drug and alcohol abuse – at an early age. Kurt Cobain, the lead singer of Nirvana, committed suicide at the age of 27. Meanwhile, Amy Winehouse died from an apparent drug overdose.
