National Flossing Day, Nov. 28, 2014, to be celebrated by the National Flossing Council with a new video ad thanking Lululemon for their Floss Manifesto and the hard driving dance rhythms of the Malagasy band, Raoky.

America’s leading organization for the promotion and advocacy of flossing – The National Flossing Council (NFC) – released a new ad which celebrates the floss manifesto of Lululemon and the dynamic music of the Malagasy band, Raoky.

The ad thanks Lululemon Athletica ( for their 2014 Manifesto and encourages all Americans to floss and dance on National Flossing Day (NFD), November 28, 2014. NFD is held each year on the day after Thanksgiving.

NFC President, Dr Armand Lione, commented on the exciting music in the video. “We hope viewers will be delighted by the images and the music and be prompted to celebrate flossing every day - and dance,” Dr Lione said.

Over the last 18 years, The National Flossing Council has been living its commitment to “Help Spread Peace of Mouth.” National Flossing Day is a yearly event to increase public understanding about the importance of floss in good dental hygiene.

Past National Flossing Day activities have ranged from video contests and promoting access to floss in restaurants to the presentation of a media award, The Flossy, to Ellen DeGeneres and Jerry Seinfeld, who have both done a lot to promote flossing.
