Barcelona, Spain (PRWEB) November 21, 2014 -- Representatives with Barcelona Budget announced today that it is now offering a tour to Casa Lleo Morera, which had previously been closed to the public until the present year.

With stained-glass windows, mosaics, sculptures, furniture, ceramics, Fattore pointed out, Casa Lleo Morera, contains the best-preserved examples of the decorative arts from Catalonia’s home-grown art nouveau movement modernisme.
Designed by the architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner, it was built in the early 20th century and had never been open to the public until 2014.
As for the historical significance of the house, Francesca Morera i Ortiz commissioned Montaner in 1902 to work on the Lleó i Morera House. Casa Rocamora, an old building on Passeig de Gràcia, 35 (Barcelona) was built in 1864 by master builder Joaquim Sitjas. Montaner completely remodeled the existing house but the project stopped in 1906. Ortiz inherited the building from her uncle, Antoni Morera i Busó who died before witnessing the finished building. Her son, Albert Lleó i Morera, took charge of the house, giving it its current name Casa Lleó i Morera.
Fattore explained that those who visit the Barcelona Budget website, have the ability to plan their trip by doing the most while keeping their spending to the minimum.
