APSP Announces Three New Board Members at Annual Meeting
ORLANDO (PRWEB) November 21, 2014 -- The Association of Pool & Spa Professionals (APSP) announces the appointment of three new members of its Board of Directors, as well as the full slate of officers and board members at its annual meeting preceding the International Pool | Spa | Patio Expo in Orlando earlier this month.
Joining the Board of Directors are Donna Williams, General Manager, Sales, Marketing and Product Management for PoolCorp; Chris Curcio, President of Litehouse Products; and Maurizio Vozza, CEO/President/Owner of Nordic Products, Inc.
These individuals join current Board Members Jeff Fausett, CBP, Chairman; Rich Garbee, GLI Pool Products; April Nielsen, Lonza; Bob Blanda, CBP, CSP, Mill Bergen Pool Center; Bruce Fisher, Outside Director; Jack Manilla, CBP, CSP, Portofino Pools (reelection); and Rich Gottwald, APSP President and CEO, for the 2014-2015 term.
Board members completing their service were John Romano, CBP, All American Pools & Spas; Joseph Vassallo, Sr., CBP, Paragon Pools; and Jerry Pasley, Bullfrog International.
“It is an honor to serve as Chairman of the new APSP,” said Fausett. “I’m excited about the direction of the organization and its commitment to provide value to its members and protect the livelihood of all of us involved with recreational water.”
APSP member candidates were culled from applications across all industry segments. The APSP Nominating Committee comprised of Steve Gorlin, CBP, CSP, Gorlin Pools & Spas; Greg Howard, Carecraft; Bob Lauter, Master Spas; Guy Larsen, CBP, CSP, All Seasons Pools & Spas; and Dustin Watters, CBP, Watters Aquatech identified qualified candidates to serve.
“Two years ago APSP committed itself to having a smaller, more nimble board to address issues strategically and efficiently, tapping into the specific talents of its volunteers. Through the renewal of chapters and a greater emphasis on communications, the Board is poised to solidify APSP’s programs and its leadership role,” Fausett added.
