2015 Jacksonville RV MegaShow Set for Feb. 26 – March 1 at Equestrian Center
Jacksonville, Fla. (PRWEB) November 24, 2014 -- More than 400 recreational vehicles will be on display during the 2015 Jacksonville RV MegaShow, which takes place from Thurs., Feb. 26 through Sun., March 1 at the Jacksonville Equestrian Center, located at 13611 Normandy Blvd., west of downtown Jacksonville.
John Schuster, chairman of the regional chapter of the Florida RV Trade Association, said dealers agreed to keep the same show hours, pricing and special discounts that drew more than 10,000 attendees to the event last year.
Show hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are $8 for adults and children under 12 years of age are admitted free. All active and retired military visitors will receive $2 off the admission price throughout the show. On Senior Appreciation Day, Thursday, Feb. 26, guests 65 years or older will be admitted for $2 off the regular admission price.
There will also be daily door prize, a $100 Visa Gift Card, awarded daily during the four-day event.
Tickets can be purchased at the event site and parking is free.
There will be about $40 million in recreational vehicles and RV accessories showcased, with dealers offering discounts, factory rebates and other incentives at the event. In a departure from previous years, dealers will showcase only 2014 and 2015 RV models during the show. About 400 motor homes, travel trailers, fifth-wheels and tent campers will be on display.
Also, finance and insurance companies will have representatives on site to help answer questions from visitors considering an RV purchase.
Participating dealers include Campers Inn (Jacksonville), Camping World RV Sales (Jacksonville/St. Augustine), Dick Gore’s RV World (Jacksonville/St. Augustine), General RV Center (Orange Park), Ocean Grove RV Supercenter (St. Augustine) and Travelcamp (Jacksonville).
Northeast Florida RV Dealers are expecting strong RV sales to continue here and throughout the country into next year. According to Recreational Vehicle Industry Association, if 2014 national sales trends continue through the fourth quarter of year, RV sales should rise 10 percent by year’s end. That will signal a major milestone in the industry, with sales nearly reaching the pre-recession peak of 350,000 units sold nationwide.
