Clearwater Compliance CEO Bob Chaput Appointed to Advisory Board of the Association for Executives in Healthcare Information Security (AEHIS)
Nashville, TN (PRWEB) November 24, 2014 -- Clearwater Compliance CEO and Founder, Bob Chaput, has been named to the Advisory Board of the Association for Executives in Healthcare Information Security (AEHIS) Foundation, the company announced today.
The AEHIS Foundation is the first professional organization serving healthcare’s senior IT security leaders and was founded by the esteemed College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME).
Chaput was selected by the AEHIS Foundation to join the 11-person Advisory Board, which is made up of thought leaders committed to fostering the empowerment of chief information security officers and improving the practice of information security as a business risk management issue within healthcare.
“The formation of this experienced group promises to bring significant value to our members and the industry,” said George W. McCulloch, FCHIME, CHCIO, executive vice president of membership and professional development with CHIME. “Bob’s extensive expertise in information privacy, security compliance, and risk management will be a tremendous asset to our Board and the organization. We are delighted to welcome him and look forward to his contributions as we intensify our efforts in supporting IT security leaders in healthcare.”
Chaput’s Advisory Board appointment expands Clearwater’s existing relationship with the AEHIS Foundation. Earlier this year, the company was inducted as a Premier Founding Member, lending its support and expertise to the growing network.
“AEHIS has a very important role to play in advancing best practices within the information risk management space, and I’m both excited and honored to more significantly contribute to the future direction and strategy of the organization,” said Chaput. “As one of the inaugural members of the AEHIS Advisory Board, I can’t wait to get started and help lay a foundation for a very productive year ahead.”
