Martin Simon has been appointed General Manager of Hyatt Morristown at Headquarters Plaza in Morristown, NJ. Simon is responsible for the management, operation and marketing of the 256 room hotel. Simon has a long history with Hyatt, which spans 26 years and various roles throughout North America and the Caribbean.
Most recently, Martin was Director of Food & Beverage at Grand Hyatt New York in New York City. Prior to his role overseeing the Food & Beverage division, he was responsible for the management of that hotel’s Rooms Division. Before joining Grand Hyatt New York, Martin held executive level positions at Hyatt Deerfield, Chicago, IL, Park Hyatt Toronto, Ontario Canada, Hyatt Regency Miami, Miami, FL, Hyatt Regency Coconut Point, Bonita Springs, FL, and Hyatt Regency Grand Cyprus, Orlando, FL.

Simon began his hospitality career in the rooms division at Grand Hyatt Washington in Washington DC in 1988. From there, Simon progressed through various jobs within Hyatt, and was promoted to posts throughout the country as Director of Rooms and Director of Food & Beverage.
Simon is excited to begin this new chapter of his career in the Morristown community.
