Grants Pass, OR (PRWEB) December 01, 2014 -- On Friday, Dec. 5, all 233 Dutch Bros. Coffee locations will take part in a company-wide event. All locations will donate at least a “buck” per drink or proceeds from the day to youth programs selected by local owner-operators.
Since Dutch Bros. locations are locally owned and operated; owners choose the local organizations dear to their hearts that will benefit from funds raised. Organizations range from regional Boys & Girls Clubs to holiday toy collection programs. Last year resulted in over $176,900 raised for community youth organizations.
“Kids are awesome. They are our present and future,” says Dutch Bros. Coffee Co-Founder Travis Boersma, a father of four himself. “We recognize that there are so many amazing organizations that help kids, each in a special way. We want to support them as they strive to help kids enjoy each day, whether it be through coats, toys, school supplies or programs that help them grow and learn.”
Dutch Bros. Coffee gives back at least 1% of gross sales to the communities it serves and donates over $1 million every year to nonprofit organizations and causes, in an effort to live the philosophy of “Love all, Serve all.”
