Spacesaver ActivRAC high-density mobile storage system

For the past ten years, BeverageWorld editors review products, trends, technology and solutions and choose a select few to be showcased on the HIT List throughout various categories including Warehouse and Distribution. Spacesaver’s ActivRAC is a unique storage system that eliminates empty warehouse aisle space by mounting existing pallet racking or shelving on carriages that move back and forth on rails, which are anchored to the floor, doubling storage capacity within the same space. ActivRAC has an emerging role and success within the beer and beverage warehouse manufacturing and distribution market.

Jeff Peters, Spacesaver Corporation Sales Manager said, “We’re extremely excited to be a part of the annual HIT List. With craft beer production reaching all-time highs, wholesalers are looking for ways to add and store more SKUs without having to build or lease additional warehouse space. ActivRAC is the ideal solution, as you can increase storage space within the same footprint, reduce pick-time and avoid double and triple handling.”
