UMBC Biotechnology Graduate Programs Host Protein Symposium January 14

Event to highlight current and future protein research.

On January, 14, 2015, UMBC’s Biotechnology Graduate Programs invite the Baltimore and Washington D.C. science community to the UMBC campus for a discussion on protein research.

The event, sponsored by the Protein Society, will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 .m. in UMBC’s University Center, Room 312. Through discussion, presentations and workshops, the free symposium will highlight the functional and structural importance of proteins, their role in the industry and the future of protein research. Those interested in attending the event can register at umbc.edu/biotech/symposium.

There are still opportunities to present at the event. Those interested can contact Ms. Faiza Munawar at mfaiza1(at)umbc(dot)edu. The abstract submission deadline is December 10.
