Versio a Healthcare Technology Company with People at its Core
Renton, WA (PRWEB) December 02, 2014 -- It was a great time to brainstorm solutions for their clients, keeping them one step ahead of the-ever-changing healthcare industry. As Versio continues to grow and adapt to the specialized work they do, they took this time to focus on how they could better serve their customers.
Team Versio had a kickoff event on November 12th as Uncorked Canvas in Tacoma, WA came and guided them step-by-step through creating a beautiful painting, while they sipped wine and snacked on appetizers. Each team member painted the same painting, yet everyone had a different view of how everything was supposed to come together.
Andrew McMasters, the director of Jet City Improv, came Thursday November 13th to do a team building activity using Improv techniques and focusing on communication, collaboration and how to remain lighthearted in stressful situations. Versio’s newest hire said “it was a little intimidating at first, Improv is something I’ve never done before. But it was so nice to see everyone’s personalities come out—the team is so focused on each part they play in the company that it was beneficial to interact with people I don’t typically work with in a new, fun way.” Both supporting events Versio participated in reemphasized the idea of learning techniques on how to see things from other people’s perspectives, embrace creativity and team building—with the ultimate goal of how to enhance their team to solve problems for clients.
Versio wrapped up the week on Saturday night with a family style dinner at Buca di Beppo in Seattle, then attended a comedy show. One of Versio’s goals is to have a cohesive team that works hard and enjoys time together.
Overall, Team Versio agrees this was the best Summit week they have ever had. It was the most organized year, which lead to an ideal balance of being more productive, strategizing, making decisions and the right amount of fun. Now, time for Versio to finish refining all of the objectives, goals and new strategies for the New Year. The CEO and founder of Versio, Lisa Pike, enjoyed her time with her dynamic team. “We have a lot of big projects coming up next year and this was a great time to re-group, re-energize and re-focus on what we do and why we do it. The employees here at Versio are so passionate about the important role they play to get over 99% quality in our data migration and increasing patient’s safety one record at a time. That’s something we’re all proud of!”
