Steelman Games LLC has released its first app for tabletop role-playing gamers. The Legend of Us RPG Sidekick equips the player with virtual dice and the ability to conveniently carry their Pathfinder RPG, World of Darkness, Savage Worlds, and Dungeons and Dragons characters with them wherever they go.

The app is available here: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/legend-of-us-rpg-sidekick/id931094456?mt=8&uo=4

Key benefits include: an innovative and entertaining dice roller; Character Sheets that can be easily adapted to any game system; and the ability to save frequently used dice pools, formulas, and notes in each Character Sheet and then switch between them with the touch of a button.

"Our simple goal with the RPG Sidekick is to help you play tabletop RPGs more frequently," says Mark Steelman, president of Steelman Games LLC. "Tabletop role-playing games develop creativity in the players and build community, and we are happy to be a part of that community."

Mark Steelman is an alumnus of the former Mythic Entertainment division of Electronic Arts, where he worked on massively multiplayer role-playing games such as Dark Age of Camelot, Warhammer Age of Reckoning, and Ultima Online. Steelman Games LLC makes mobile games and game-related apps.

Tabletop role-playing games are storytelling games that usually involve a fantasy or science fiction setting. In a game, one player is the "game master" or story-facilitator while the other players each take on the role of a hero in the story. The genre first became popular in the 1970s with Wizards of the Coast's Dungeons and Dragons and has grown into an industry serving roughly six percent of the U.S. population (per a survey conducted by Wizards of the Coast in 2000).
