TASH Fitness, the new women’s only fitness and wellness center located in Skokie, IL was built through the owner’s network of business referrals. 99% of the tradesmen and employees were businesses and people that Sharan Tash knew through her network.

"Using my network of business professionals made the building of my facility a breeze."

Networking and connecting business professionals for the last 15 years was the major contributor to the success of the opening of TASH Fitness, the new women’s only fitness facility in Skokie, IL. 99% of the tradesmen and employees were known by Sharan Tash, the founder and owner through her years of networking in the Chicagoland area.

“Networking, or as I like to say, connecting, really works if you go into it wanting to help others first”, says Tash who used to be known as The Professional Networker, speaking to organizations about the skills of connecting.

“I knew that when I decided to build my first facility I was going to use my network of contacts.” Tash continued, “From my commercial real estate broker to my lawyer, my architect to my contractor, each person was someone who was in my network. If I did not know someone, I reached out to my network to ask for a referral which made the process a breeze.”

As a thank you to her network, a large banner was made for the grand opening with each business name and contact. “If I had to stand up in front of over 200 people that attended the opening and thank everyone, it would have taken 15 minutes. The banner was there predominantly displayed at the entrance to the facility for all 200 attendees to see. It is still up there and I am very proud to have used so many great connections. It was my way of saying thank you to so many business professionals.”
