CS3 Technology takes Toys for Tots Campaign Participation to a Whole New Level
Tulsa, OK (PRWEB) November 25, 2014 -- CS3 Technology is humbled once again to announce their participation in the United States Marine Corps’ Toys for Tots annual campaign. This is done on behalf of their valued customers and partners and this year takes on a whole new level of commitment.
“We started the tradition five years ago when our team felt that money spent on holiday cards and gifts for customers could be better used to benefit the Toys for Tots program. This year we made the decision to ramp up our efforts seven fold,” said Gary Crouch, CEO of CS3 Technology. “We are partnering with the Oklahoma Society of CPA's by managing the Tulsa donations at their Tulsa conference December 10th and 11th.” Along with that, CS3 is going shopping as a company on the afternoon of December 5th to purchase toys and goodies for the kids. “We wanted to up the budget significantly and make it a companywide event by asking each employee to join the fun and get in to the true giving spirit of the holiday season. We encourage our team to involve their families as well, in support of a program that benefits so many children during the holidays,” Gary said. Once the shopping is complete, their customers will receive a holiday eCard notifying them that a donation was made on their behalf. Gary added, “We challenge all the other Sage ERP, Sage HRMS and Acumatica business partners to do the same for this great cause.”
In addition to CS3 Technology’s companywide efforts, Jim Scheithauer, Application Consultant with CS3, goes the extra mile each and every year. He is a long-time supporter of the program and recently advised his peers that an added commission he personally earned should be included with the overall contribution. “There is certainly no one more deserving than the kids, and anything extra I can do to make them smile on Christmas morning is a great feeling,” said Jim.
For the sixth straight year, CS3 Technology will serve as a drop-off location. Donations of new, unwrapped toys can be dropped off from 8 am-5 pm, Monday to Friday at CS3’s office located at 5272 S. Lewis Avenue, Suite 100, Tulsa, now through December 13. “If there are convenient drop-off locations, our hope is that more people will contribute toys and help all the children,” said Gary.
The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as holiday gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted. The program was started in 1947.
