PowerTest 2015: Safety Summit, Interactive Electrical Power Discussion Panels, the Largest Electrical Maintenance and Safety Trade Show, and PowerBash Networking Event
Portage, Michigan (PRWEB) November 25, 2014 -- Electrical Safety, Transformers, Testing Methodologies, and Medium-Voltage Equipment are the panel sessions being led by industry experts on day two of PowerTest 2015, Tuesday, March 3, 2015, at the Renaissance Nashville Hotel, Nashville, Tennessee. PowerTest is hosted by NETA, the InterNational Electrical Testing Association.
Attendees can select two of the four different panels to attend and learn from experts and peers alike. In each session the audience guides the discussion by asking questions of the panel of experts who are each given a chance to respond. NETA Certified Technicians who need Continuing Technical Development Credits (CTDCs) as well as other industry professionals who need continuing education credits will benefit from the broad range of topics presented by leaders in the industry.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY will be moderated by Jim White of Shermco Industries. Panelists are Daryld Ray Crow of DRC Consultants Ltd., Dennis Neitzel of AVO Training Institute, Jim Dollard of IBEW Local 98, and Daleep Mohla of DCM Electrical Consulting Services.
TRANSFORMERS will be moderated by Bruce Rockwell of American Electrical Testing Co., Inc. Panelists include William Keith Hill of Doble Engineering Company and Tony Rosato of American Electrical Testing Co., Inc.
TESTING METHODOLOGIES will be moderated by Tom Sandri of Shermco Industries. Panelists are Tony McGrail of Doble Engineering Company, Keith Burgess of Shermco Industries, and Vince Oppedisano of Megger.
MEDIUM-VOLTAGE EQUIPMENT will be the discussion in the fourth panel session moderated by Mose Ramieh, III of Power & Generation Testing, Inc. Panelists are Ashley Harkness of Electrical Reliability Services, Charles Sweetser of OMICRON electronics Corp. USA, and Vicki Warren of IRIS Power.
Panel sessions wrap up at noon on Tuesday followed by the PowerTest Trade Show from 12:00 PM – 4:30 PM. This event provides attendees with the opportunity to learn about new technology, sit in on Spotlight Stage presentations scheduled throughout the show, and interact with industry peers. Attendees can enjoy lunch and visit more than 100 exhibits showcasing the latest products, procedures, and services from top-tier electrical power vendors. Two days of intense conference sessions culminate on Tuesday evening with the POWERBASH gathering.
