Mills Products Creates Metal Track for Tier 1 Auto Supplier
Brentwood,Tennessee (PRWEB) December 03, 2014 -- Tennessee-based metal fabricator Mills Products Incorporated has begun manufacturing a glass track for Carlex, a Tier 1 supplier of automotive glass. Carlex marries its glass to Mills Products’s rollformed metal assemblies to create OEM mechanisms that move car windows up and down.
Carlex was able to take advantage of Mills Products’ fully integrated inline roll forming process to minimize part handling and reduce costs. Besides window components, Mills’s inline sweep rolling and arc rolling enable it to create other complex metal automotive parts such as chassis components, side impact beams, bumpers, and decorative trim.
“We’re thrilled to be a supplier for Carlex,” says Darrell Adcock, President at Mills Products. “Not only are they doing exciting work for a number of top automotive brands, but they are based right here in Nashville, Tennessee. We especially enjoy working with fellow companies located in the Southeastern United States.”
