Taylor Morrison Helps Save the Family Give Phoenix Homeless a Fresh Start
Phoenix, Arizona (PRWEB) November 25, 2014 -- Taylor Morrison, a leading builder and developer in North America, donated its time and services to help Save the Family Foundation of Arizona improve the lives of Mesa families recently faced with homelessness.
On November 7, more than 50 employees of the Phoenix division of Taylor Morrison came together to renovate the exterior of three apartment houses that serve as transitional homes to help homeless Arizona families get back on their feet and work toward moving into a permanent home of their own.
“It’s an important project,” said Todd Hahn, vice president of sales and marketing for Taylor Morrison’s Phoenix division. “These are families that have faced real hardships. They’ve struggled with unemployment or are escaping abusive relationships, and we hope that using our skills as homebuilders to improve these homes will give the families hope for the future.”
With paint brushes, shovels and hard work, volunteers helped to paint and clean the buildings and refurbish the landscaping throughout the complex.
“The buildings look amazing thanks to the volunteers at Taylor Morrison Phoenix and their donation of supplies,” said Matt Dahlgran, project coordinator for Save the Family Foundation of Arizona. “Their work means a lot to us and a lot to the people who will live here in the years to come.”
Save the Family’s mission is to empower families to conquer homelessness and achieve life-long independence.
