London Private Detectives Offers Help in Fraud Cases
(PRWEB UK) 27 November 2014 -- As reported by the article on Sky News’ official website, dated 29 September 2014: Insider Trading Charges For Ex-Morrisons Exec, a former senior executive working for supermarket group Morrisons has been charged under the suspicion that he took part in insider dealing, by the City watchdog. The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) said that the executive in question was Paul Gerard Coyle, who was charged with over two offences, contrary to Section 52(1) of the Criminal Justice Act 1993. The alleged offences are connected to the Ocado share trades between February and March 2013, according to the FCA. The investigation conducted by the watchdog lead to the arrest of Mr Coyle last year. He was suspended by the supermarket chain in January. As result of insider dealing, share value in Morrisons dropped 2.4% shortly after the announcement was made, while that of Ocado dropped by 2%. Morrisons issued a statement saying the FCA’s insider dealing investigation "did not concern Wm Morrison Supermarkets plc or any other Morrisons’ employee".
"Morrisons is satisfied with its governance and procedures concerning the handling of market sensitive data in this case and found that the company’s procedures had been properly followed," it said. "These accusations, if proven, would be the result of an individual acting alone."
