Brave River Solutions Takes Over IT Support Services for C&J Jewelry
Warwick, RI (PRWEB) November 25, 2014 -- Brave River Solutions (BRS), a technology services provider located in Rhode Island, is providing IT support for C&J Jewelry. BRS’s team of IT specialists serve as C&J’s IT helpdesk by offering day-to-day IT support for network servers and desktops, both remotely and while on-site, in addition to helping to upgrade C&J’s technology systems.
C&J, a jewelry manufacturer in Providence, RI, contacted BRS during their search for a new IT support services team. Brave River began supporting C&J by providing an IT assessment and identifying opportunities for improvements. “Brave River’s IT Support Specialists were able to jump right in and begin supporting us immediately, filling the hole left by our previous support company. They’ve been very thorough in their evaluation of our systems and in making and implementing recommendations for improved processes,” said Doug Poirier, CFO of C&J Jewelry.
Currently, Brave River’s support specialists are evaluating and upgrading C&J’s network infrastructure, a project, which when completed will entail replacing network switches, upgrading work stations, giving them 24/7 connectivity to off-site locations by developing network redundancy, upgrading their anti-virus protections, and upgrading the network backbone for gigabit speed. By migrating their email to Office 365 and improving network speed, Brave River will help C&J Jewelry increase efficiency and productivity.
