"When you put a lab produced product on your skin, 68% of the chemicals are absorbed into your body and blood stream."
Vancouver, BC (PRWEB) November 27, 2014
On December 1st, 2014 Cheryl Theilade from Sentimental Creations will be presenting her Stocking Stuffers Skin Care course at Lord Byng Secondary from 6:30-9:30 pm. Growing up on a farm in Langley, B.C., Cheryl had many opportunities to experiment with natural products using ingredients such as dandelions and nettles. As a child, Cheryl had an abundance of products to play with- her mom, a cosmetician for some of the leading retail brands such as Loreal and Lancome, would often bring home products for her. Even at a young age, she realized that commercially laden products were extremely harmful to the body.
In fact, Cheryl states, “When you put a lab produced product on your skin, 68% of the chemicals are absorbed into your body and blood stream.”
This motivated young Cheryl to offer clean products and she started to fiddle with essential oils; increasing her repertoire of knowledge for healing properties. Eventually, over the years, this lead to the creation of her own product line in 2002.
The course is packed with instructions on how to make delightful gifts such as Papaya sugar scrubs, milk baths and Tropical Mango Tub Fizzers. The best thing about the course is that everyone gets to take home a bag of cool products.
