Hiersche, Hayward, Drakeley and Urbach, P.C. (HHDU) is pleased to announce the addition of Emily K. Lehmberg as new associate attorney at the firm. Ms. Lehmberg joins the Commercial Litigation practice group at HHDU.
Ms. Lehmberg graduated cum laude from SMU Dedman School of Law in 2014. While attending SMU, she served as Law School President for the Student Bar Association and as Articles Editor for the SMU Law Review. Ms. Lehmberg also served as the SMU Dedman School of Law Standard Bearer, selected by the Dean, for academic excellence. She was the recipient of two prestigious awards: the John E. Kennedy Memorial Scholarship award for service and dedication to the law school, and the Dallas Women Lawyer Association award for academic excellence and commitment to the Dallas legal community.
Before joining HHDU, Ms. Lehmberg completed an internship for the Honorable Lena Levario, 204th District Court, Dallas County and an internship in the Consumer Protection Division of the Attorney General’s Office. She was also selected for the Texas Governor’s Fellowship Program and worked as a press-assistant in the Press Office of Governor Rick Perry. Ms. Lehmberg earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with honors from the University of Texas at Austin in 2010.
