Speaking about the launch of the survey, Director of HRBoss Eloise Sutton-Kirkby commented, “To date, several pilot studies focusing on the challenges of workforce planning have been conducted, but none have actually assessed the state of workforce planning, particularly within businesses in Asia. Or, is the reality that companies are still conducting workforce planning on an ‘as-needed’ basis? What this region-wide survey aims to deliver is a clearer picture of workforce planning practices from an Asian business leaders’ perspective, and also to capture emerging trends with regards to workforce management in the region.”

The 10 questions that comprise the survey are based on input from business leaders and HR industry experts about the workforce planning methodologies and trends. To prevent language or translation bias, the survey is also offered in Japanese and Chinese.
Every participant will receive a complimentary full report of the results. Participants’ responses will remain confidential and the data will be reviewed HRBoss’ in-house research team. The official whitepaper report is scheduled for publication in January 2015.
