Digital Entertainment Ventures Partners with SPELLNET to Create a Video Channel for Korean Start-Ups
New York, NY (PRWEB) December 09, 2014 -- Digital Entertainment Ventures (DEV), an early stage venture capital and advisory firm, and its Seoul-based partner, DEV Korea, have inked a deal with digital marketing firm, SPELLNET, to create a first of its kind video channel profiling Korean start-up companies.
DEV recently announced that it has deepened its connection to the growing startup community in South Korea with the formation of DEV Korea Discovery Fund. Backed by private funding from US investors and as well as a grant from Korea’s National IT Promotion Agency (NIPA), the fund has a goal of investing in 40 Korean companies over a two-year period.
SPELLNET has been selected to create videos for all of the companies receiving investment from DEV Korea Discovery which will be used by the individual companies for promotion and collectively programmed on a DEV Korea YouTube Channel. Eventually the DEV Korea Channel may expand beyond portfolio companies to cover the broader tech start-up scene in Korea.
