This Friday, Robert A. Ferrante along with the Orange County Pet Adoption Center in Orange County, CA, offered a big incentive to provide a good home by adopting out the black pets at a reduced adoption fee with its “Black Friday” pet event.
Orange County Pet Adoption Center had Post Thanksgiving specials where dogs were $50, puppies were $75, cats were $25 and kittens were $37.50. The discounts had some wondering if people will make impulse purchases on pets.
“Our goal is to make a perfect match and to make it a permanent match,” said Orange County Pet Adoption Center spokesperson and sponsor, Zepyor Parseghian.
Parseghian said it’s important to remember the huge investment of time and energy that come along with adopting a pet. She said that that the Pet Adoption Center always upholds high screening standards for their adoptions so that pets end up in the right home at the right time.
The Post Thanksgiving Pet Even took place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and was able to find homes for over fifty five pets.
