AICCCA Names Kevin Weeks as New President
Fairfax, VA (PRWEB) December 02, 2014 -- After a several month nationwide search, the Association of Independent Consumer Credit Counseling Agencies announced today that Kevin Weeks is the new president of the association. Weeks has more than 20 years experience in the non-profit credit counseling industry, most recently serving as senior vice president of business development for AICCCA member Take Charge America.
“Kevin brings a wealth of experience to AICCCA, with knowledge of both the industry and our own organization,” said Christopher Viale, chairman of the board, Association of Independent Consumer Credit Counseling Agencies. “Kevin has exciting new ideas and directions planned for AICCCA and its members. His vision will help us improve our programs, support and commitment to consumers.”
AICCCA is the nation’s largest credit counseling membership association. AICCCA members counsel approximately two million consumers annually. Quality counseling is ensured by accreditation, continuing association assessment and ongoing best practices initiatives.
Weeks is a founding member of the Student Loan Alliance and served previously as a past vice president and trustee on the AICCCA board of directors.
Weeks earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management Information Systems from Salem State University in Massachusetts.
