Sheet Music Plus announces contest encouraging publishing and selling among community members

"We are thrilled to have built a community of over 2000 composers and arrangers that have uploaded over 20,000 musical compositions and arrangements to our website,” said Jenny Silva, CEO of Sheet Music Plus.

Sheet Music Plus, home to the world’s largest online sheet music selection, today announced its New Year’s Music Selling contest.

Composers, arrangers and songwriters are encouraged to upload new original work to the Digital Publishing Platform now through December 31, 2014. Titles will be live on sheetmusicplus.com by January 10th and the selling competition period will run from January 12 – February 15, 2015.

In addition to royalties, the best-selling piece from each of the following categories will win $300: Instrumental, Sacred Choral, School/Community Choral and Piano.
