Lunar Workshops Presents LunarCubes Conference; Lunar Surface Applications Workshop in April 2015
Sunnyvale, CA (PRWEB) December 18, 2014 -- The various sessions at the four-day Lunar Cubes event drew people from across the country, all inspired to make their mark in the New Space era.
Representatives from four NASA centers attended this workshop; including individuals from Goddard Space Flight Center, SETI, Kennedy Space Center and the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL). Also attending were experts from organizations within the aerospace industry and academia. Some of the more notable of these attendees included representatives from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, Astrobotic, The George Washington University, Moog, Inc., and Made In Space. Friday’s presentations included a special nod to New Space Entrepreneurs with an emphasis on the necessity and importance of collaborating for success.
In addition to the 32 technical presentations, the 4th International Workshop on LunarCubes featured a distinguished group of keynote speakers whose varied expertise in space exploration shed light on information and ideas across several distinct facets of the field. These keynote presentations were made by Astrobotic, Deep Space Industries, Flexure Engineering, Lux Capital, Made in Space, and Space Gambit.
Both presenters and audience contributed to the greater discussion of where humanity is going next, how to take us there sooner, and how to do it better. Please join us at one of our upcoming Lunar workshops and become part of this effort!
Our next Lunar Workshop will be held on April 14-17 in Cocoa Beach, Florida, and is entitled the 5th International Workshop on Lunar Surface Applications. Our next LunarCubes event will be held in October 2015, in Sunnyvale, California.
