Bernard Berkowitz invited to join the Community Foundation of New Jersey's Legal, Wealth and Tax Advisory Committee

Bernard S. Berkowitz, senior partner at the law firm of Berkowitz Lichtstein Kuritsky Giasullo & Gross LLC, in Roseland, New Jersey, was recently invited to join the Community Foundation of New Jersey’s Legal, Wealth and Tax Advisory Committee, a new initiative comprised of well-regarded attorneys, accountants and investment advisors.

Berkowitz is a member of the Board and the Leadership Committee of the Community Foundation of New Jersey; he was formerly Chairman of the Board. Established in 1979, the Community Foundation of New Jersey is an alliance of families, businesses and foundations that work together to create lasting differences in people's lives and communities.

The organization’s mission is to support charitable giving that is inspired by donors, targeted at strengthening communities, driven by creative solutions, and effective in achieving lasting change. Through a combination of Legacy Funds and Donor Advised Funds, the foundation has granted an average of more than $30 million each year to charitable organizations and currently stewards over $320 million in charitable assets for current needs and future challenges.
