Crown College has announced the offering of another free, online MOOC course to begin this January. The MOOC format is designed for a truly “global classroom” that leverages the latest in technology and a unique, one-of-a-kind classroom dynamic.
Entitled “Understanding the Old Testament”, the MOOC course is part of a larger biblical literacy initiative of the college and can accommodate hundreds or thousands of students, requires no application, and can lead to course credit for participants who choose to take a proficiency exam at the end of the 7-week course (optional). Anyone with internet access can participate and the free course is scheduled to begin January 5, 2015.
Designed to help participants master the critical concepts and history of the Old Testament, the course is well-suited to individual students but group participation (bible study, church members, pastoral staff, ministry teams, etc.) is also encouraged.
