Now Shipping Backer Orders & Introducing the Belmont Derby

The Belmont Derby

"We knew our story would resonate with a group of people who have a passion for USA-made products, but to end our campaign on such a strong note is beyond inspiring."

Brooklyn Boot Company, a direct-consumer-USA made footwear brand, entered the market with a momentous start. Following a successful Kickstarter campaign in October 2014 that was 235% funded with $117,817 raised, the brand is delivering roughly 80% of the orders purchased through Kickstarter by over 800 backers this week.

Brooklyn Boot Company launched on Kickstarter to introduce top-quality, American-made footwear at an accessible price point with the ultimate goal of fueling American manufacturing. Customers who missed the opportunity to purchase product via Kickstarter are able to pre-order pairs via using the website’s reservation system. Due to the overwhelming response received during the brand's Kickstarter campaign, Brooklyn Boot Company’s introductory boot style, The Rough Lands series, is currently sold out until January 2015.

“We are overwhelmed with the support we've received through our Kickstarter campaign. We believe in our mission 100% and put everything we had into getting it off the ground. We knew our story would resonate with a group of people who have a passion for USA-made products, but to end our campaign on such a strong note is beyond inspiring. Our next step is to continue to grow our collection and deliver on the promise of quality that our Pennsylvania-based factory is known for,” said Gino Bellia, Brooklyn Boot Company’s Founder.

To compliment the brand’s introductory boot style, the Rough Lands series, Brooklyn Boot Company released a limited-edition derby style – a sleek counterpart to their everyday, work-inspired boot. The Belmont is derived from a traditional American red brick sole derby and is crafted using a Goodyear Welt construction and finished with a Vibram sole. The Belmont, which would traditionally retail for approximately $225, is being sold at a factory-direct price of $155 exclusively from

“Our goal is to provide customers with the opportunity to buy quality USA-made footwear and offer essential items that build a classic wardrobe. We want your Brooklyn Boot Company boots and shoes to stay at the top of your rotation and to be the pairs you gravitate towards and want to live in; not only because they look great but because they make getting dressed easier,” said Bellia.

About Brooklyn Boot Company:

Brooklyn Boot Company is taking a new approach to USA-made footwear by crafting top-quality American-made shoes at an accessible price point. Brooklyn Boot Company was founded by Gino Bellia, an entrepreneurial individual within H.H. Brown Shoe Company. After visiting his company’s domestic factory located in Martinsburg, PA, Bellia was inspired and moved by the environment, passionate workers and unmatched craftsmanship that he saw. It was there he had a vision to bring power back to American manufacturing and fuel the movement to make quality, homegrown products more accessible to the everyday consumer.

Brooklyn Boot Company employs a direct-to-consumer price model that excludes the traditional retail markup, allowing the brand to price its products competitively without ever compromising quality. By only selling direct to their customers, Brooklyn Boot Company delivers high-quality boots at a fraction of the price of other American-made boots in the market.
