Alabama Bass Trail and BoatUS Team Up for Towing
Decatur, Ala. (PRWEB) December 02, 2014 -- The red towboats of BoatUS’ on the water TowBoatUS towing fleet will be getting busier in Alabama in 2015 as a new presenting sponsor of the Alabama Bass Trail Tournament Series. The partnership teams up the country’s largest boat owners group and towing fleet for on water and roadside assistance with a 13-lake, team-style statewide fishing tournament that’s now drawing anglers from six states. Discounts on BoatUS membership will be offered to competitors, and if history repeats itself and some competitors’ vessels break down, TowBoatUS could likely again be assisting anglers with tows to weigh-in in the nick of time, or helping with a flat tire.
“The Alabama Bass Trail started out as a local Alabama organization with great volunteers, and they’ve done a fantastic job growing their series,” said BoatUS Brand Engagement Coordinator Dustin King. “It’s now come to the point where they are attracting anglers from Tennessee, Mississippi, Florida, South Carolina, Ohio and Georgia. As they continue to grow we look forward to a long and lasting partnership, and know our on water and roadside towing service will be ready 24/7 to get them back on their way. BoatUS understands the need for anglers who travel far and wide to attend these events.”
King added that at last year’s championship final, “We helped many anglers get their boats back to the ramp or provided assistance on the side of the road with things like flat tires and blow outs. That’s what we do - get folks back to fishing.” King will be attending all of the 2015 events and encourages fans and anglers to stop by the BoatUS booth to learn more.
As part of the sponsorship, BoatUS will offer competitors a discounted annual membership for just $15 that comes with a subscription to BoatUS Magazine and includes 24/7 nationwide dispatch with $50 of on the water boat towing assistance and $50 of roadside assistance for a disabled boat trailer and tow vehicle. Exclusive fuel, transient slip and repair discounts, savings on fishing gear and charters, fun online learning opportunities and access to lots of trailer “how-to” information are also included.
Anglers may add BoatUS’ roadside “Unlimited” Trailer Assist to a membership for an additional $14 that provides 100 miles of free road towing for both the disabled boat trailer and its tow vehicle to a safe location or repair shop. Lockout, flat tire, battery jump and fuel drop-off services are included in this low price. Freshwater boaters can also add “Unlimited” on the water towing to their membership for just $48 additional. Soft ungroundings, jump-starts, fuel delivery and tows back to a marina, home dock or launch ramp are included for any boat that is owned, rented, chartered or borrowed nationwide.
