I have a keen appreciation for the challenges that our clients face in today's volatile regulatory and reimbursement climate: I've been on the agency side.

Leading electronic medical record software provider HealthWyse today announced that Andrea LeBlanc joined the company as Vice President of Client Services.
LeBlanc is a nurse and a respected veteran in the post-acute healthcare world, having long experience in executive roles at both the Center for Medicare Services (CMS) and leading home health and hospice agencies in New England.
Most recently she was Vice President at the Merrimack Valley Hospice which provides both residential and inpatient services to residents in Northeastern Massachusetts, Southern New Hampshire and York, Maine. The organization is one of the region’s most respected not-for-profit hospices, and has provided quality end-of-life care for more than 30 years. Merrimack is one of only two hospice houses in the state licensed for pediatric care.
Prior to joining Merrimack Valley, LeBlanc was Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice, a large, independent home health and hospice provider based in Maine. As COO, she implemented the model for the state’s first hospice house and developed the patient-centric M.O.D.E.L. Care quality initiative.
In seven years at the Center for Medicare Services, she was involved with quality initiatives and education throughout New England, including revision of all Medicare Medical Review policies.
As head of client services, LeBlanc will draw on her experience to refine training and implementation, while scaling support services for existing clients, as HealthWyse continues to expand its client base. Her expertise in process improvement and program development will inform both the onboarding process and the support provided to existing clients that are seeking to expand their base of operations.
“After many years on the agency and regulatory side I am pleased to be part of a company that has such a strong commitment to addressing the clinical, operational and compliance needs of home health and hospice,” said LeBlanc. “At a time when the industry undergoing such rapid change, I know from direct experience that HealthWyse continues to be a reliable, strategic partner to its clients.”
HealthWyse Chief Executive Officer Graham Barnes noted: “We are delighted to have an executive with Andrea’s depth of hands-on industry experience join our leadership team at HealthWyse. In addition to leading successful projects and delivering outcomes for our clients, our development team is looking forward to her involvement in improving our products through her operational and regulatory insights.”
