Wheatland Electric Cooperative Provides Faster Restoration with a Survalent Technology Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS)
MISSISSAUGA, ON (PRWEB) December 03, 2014 -- Wheatland Electric Cooperative (WEC) selected Survalent Technology's Advanced Distribution Management System in order to provide faster restoration times and improved customer service.
WEC will now be able to remotely monitor and control the equipment in their substations while improving safety and customer service and increasing revenues.
The new system includes Survalent's highly-available, open-architecture system that allows utilities to create their own programs and databases. The system is based on Windows Server Operating System, and includes Survalent's open-system applications:
