Distinguished Guests Attend an Awards Reception held by Easter Seals Southern Georgia and the Valdosta-Lowndes County Board of Directors
Valdosta, Ga. (PRWEB) December 04, 2014 -- Easter Seals Southern Georgia honored Valdosta employees, volunteers, and community supporters during its recent awards reception. On Wednesday, December 3rd, the group gathered at Azalea’s restaurant for the awards event. State Representative Dexter Sharper, Mayor John Gayle, and City Manager, Larry Hanson, were in attendance. A highlight of the evening was the Eagle Scout ceremony for Bryceson Harvey who has worked hard to accomplish this achievement.
The following awards were presented:
Distinguished Service Award recipients: Elks Ladies Auxiliary, Dwayne Culpepper, Steel’s Jewelry, G & G Family Medicine, Walkers Auto Repair, and Hogan’s Pharmacy
LPN’s of the Year: Gloria Crawford and Katelin Bullard
Direct Support Staff of the Year: Demetria Wooten, Aisha Johnson, William Taylor, and Felicia Williams
A 10 year service award went to Jackie Hill, and the Above and Beyond Award recipient was Michelle Harris.
