National Geographic Holiday Trunk Show Featuring Bambeco
Baltimore, MD (PRWEB) December 03, 2014 -- National Geographic will host a trunk show in the museum store at their Washington, DC headquarters. This year, National Geographic is featuring bambeco sustainable products at the event. National Geographic is one of the largest nonprofit scientific and educational institutions in the world. It is a leader in the promotion of environmental conservation.
Bambeco is proud to partner with National Geographic for the Holiday Trunk Show. “It's an honor and a privilege to partner with a globally-recognized leader in environmental conservation like National Geographic,” Susan Aplin, bambeco CEO.
“We seek to inspire people to change the way they live, and what they buy,” Aplin continues. “We believe you don't have to sacrifice style or quality to live sustainably. All products are designed and produced with the lowest possible impact on the earth. True sustainability is only achieved when every step in the process is carried out with dignity and respect for people and the planet.”
Bambeco gives over 1% of their profits to environmental causes that support the company's Core3 concerns—climate change, land preservation, and clean water and waterways. “The National Geographic partnership is an ideal fit,” Aplin explains. “Their focus is using science, exploration, and storytelling to change the world. At bambeco, every product has a story to tell, and preserving the planet for generations to come is our mission.”
The National Geographic Trunk Show runs December 3 through December 5, 2014 at the National Geographic Museum Store in Washington, DC. Featured bambeco products will include recycled glassware, reclaimed wood, vintage kantha quilts, and other sustainable artisan creations.
