Participating utilities recognize Open Access Technology International, Inc. (OATI) at the 2014 Rural Smart Grid Summit (RSGS) as one of the Up-and-Coming Smart Grid Companies to Watch.

OATI was honored to be recognized as one of the Top Three Vendors to Watch at the 2014 Rural Smart Grid Summit, November 16-18, 2014 at the Arizona Grand Resort & Spa in Phoenix, Arizona. OATI’s speaker, Linda Stevens, Director, Smart Grid Sales at OATI, generated a high level of interest among participating utilities during board room presentations, as she expressed the value of OATI, and the innovative Smart Grid solutions that OATI provides for the energy industry.

“It was wonderful to work with OATI at the fifth annual Rural Smart Grid Summit,” says Colin Martin, Vice President of Sales and Vendor Participation at the Rural Smart Grid Summit. “As one of 40 exclusive participating vendors in the 2014 RSGS, OATI connected with our hosted audience of US electric cooperative utility executives in an exceptional way. The RSGS offers three vendor awards that are voted on by our attending utility executives while on site. Congratulations to OATI for winning the 2014 RSGS Vendor to Watch Award, awarded to the best up-and-coming vendor with the most innovative Smart Grid solution.”

OATI, and marketing partner, NRTC, both had booths at the RSGS solutions showcase forum, where they had the opportunity to continue conversations and engage with attendees.

“NRTC is pleased to work with one of the top vendors to watch at the Rural Smart Grid Summit,” says Ed Drew, Vice President, Utility Solutions, at NRTC. “It is really no surprise, as OATI's advanced solutions are the reason why NRTC sought it out for partnership to benefit our electric cooperative members.”
