Eriksen Translations (http://www.eriksen.com), a leading provider of multilingual services in over 100 languages, has been named the winner of a Gold MarCom Award for the design of their website, http://www.eriksen.com. The international competition recognizes creative achievement by marketing and communication professionals.

This year, the MarCom Awards received over 6,500 entries from throughout the United States, Canada, and 15 other countries. Entries come from corporate marketing and communications departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, design shops, production companies, and freelancers. The competition has grown to one of the largest of its kind in the world, with winners ranging in size from individual communicators to media conglomerates and Fortune 500 companies.

The new Eriksen Translations website features an easy-to-navigate responsive format and content which highlights the capabilities of the staff and emphasizes the company’s personal approach and longstanding focus on customer service. The site’s structure provides a strong framework for expanding into additional languages – after the site’s original launch in English, Eriksen developed localized versions in French, German, Norwegian, Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, and Swedish.

“We are thrilled to be honored with a MarCom award,” said Vigdis Eriksen, founder and CEO of Eriksen Translations. “Thanks to the hard work of our exceptional team, the new site achieves our objectives by reflecting the identity of the company and the top-notch services we provide to our clients.”

The eriksen.com design team consisted of Lúgh Studio (http://www.lughstudio.com), Mike Metz (http://www.mikemetz.com), and Ferseta Consulting (http://www.ferseta.com). This is the website’s third award; Eriksen received a Bronze Stevie Award in the Best Overall Website Design category in the 2014 International Business Awards along with a platinum 2014 Hermes Creative Award for overall website design.
