Petcam Company Launches Social Media Campaign Offering Cameras To Animal Shelters
Dallas, TX (PRWEB) December 11, 2014 -- Pet-related charities are eligible to receive free Wi-Fi cameras from Dallas area company Pet-Peeps, as the retailer launches its "Adopt a PetCam" social media campaign. The campaign encourages charities to have their followers follow Pet-Peeps and post pictures of their adopted pets on Instagram with a designated hashtag, which identifies the eligible charity group. After a group accounts for 75 followers, it receives a free Pet-Peeps petcam to use in their own facility.
“We’ve never used social media in our marketing, and this just seemed like an idea that helps everyone,” stated Ross Alan, Pet-Peeps’ CEO. “Shelters can get equipment that can help them in the future and it’ll hopefully boost our online presence…plus it’s yet another way to show off the great pets that are available at local shelters.”
Currently, organizations must have a central location and must have a 501C3 status in good standing. To be eligible, charities must fill out an application on the Pet-Peeps.com website located at http://pet-peeps.com/pages/shelters.
