Zerto, setting the standard for protection, recovery and migration of data in cloud and virtualized datacenters, has been awarded “Storage Virtualisation Product of the Year” at the SVC Awards in London last week.
The Storage, Virtualisation, Cloud (SVC) Awards reward the products, projects and services as well as honour companies and teams operating in the cloud, virtualisation and storage sectors. Zerto Virtual Replication 3.5 (ZVR) was recognised as offering enterprises and cloud providers with hypervisor-based replication that is fully aligned with the needs of virtualised mission-critical applications. The award entry was supported by testimonials from Zerto customers including Mitsubishi Chemical Holdings Group, Bakker Barendrecht and EUKOR Car Carriers.
“We would like to thank the judging panel for its consideration and our customers who provided testimonials in support of our entry,” said Ziv Kedem, CEO and co-founder of Zerto, “The award validates our innovation and ability to protect and recover applications in any IT environment – public, private or hybrid cloud.”
Zerto’s hypervisor-based replication technology is the first and only solution that delivers tier one, enterprise-class, virtual replication and BC/DR capabilities for the modern data centre and the cloud without legacy compromises.
Zerto Virtual Replication has disrupted the traditional hardware-centric market for disaster recovery and migration of applications. More than 700 enterprise customers in 29 countries use Zerto Virtual Replication in their production environments to protect, recover and migrate data and production applications. In addition, Zerto dominates the market for cloud-based recovery and replication and has become the de-facto standard for recovery and migration in cloud environments, with more than 150 Cloud Providers offering services powered by Zerto Virtual Replication.
