Foo Fighters Tickets: Ticket Down Issues Promo Code for Foo Fighters Presale Tickets in St Louis, Kansas City, St Paul, Oklahoma City, Wichita, Nashville & Memphis
New York, NY (PRWEB) December 04, 2014 -- The Foo Fighters, led by Dave Grohl, recently announced their next North American tour that is set to kick off on July 4 from RFK Stadium in Washington, DC. The tour, which will span 28 dates, will conclude at the FedEx Forum in Memphis, TN on October 7. The tour will be the biggest since Grohl joined the band and is being held in support of their latest album, Sonic Highway, which came out earlier this month.
In addition to Grohl, a former member of the popular grunge band Nirvana, Foo Fighters consists of Pat Smear, Nate Mendel, Taylor Hawkins, and Chris Shiflett. They have been together since 1994 following the death of Nirvana front-man Kurt Cobain and have released eight studio albums. Since joining forces, the group has never lost focus of their goal to provide quality music to their fans and have worked hard to put out single after single and record after record of great sounds.
Among their most popular albums to date include their 2002 release, One by One, which was their first album to ever reach the top of the music charts anywhere in the world. The record sold more than one million copies in the United States, earning Platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America. Their next two albums also reached the No.1 spot in charts worldwide, but it was the release of their 2011 record, Wasting Light, did the group finally reach their first No.1 album in the United States.
Helping to pave the way for that album to become their first No.1 release in their home country were the singles “Rope,” and “Walk.” Both singles reached the top of the alternative rock charts in the United States and “These Days,” reached as high as No.2.
When Foo Fighters take the stage for this memorable tour, they will play mostly their new music. Grohl has made it known that he doesn’t like it when other acts don’t play their new material live, so expect to hear songs like “Something from Nothing,” “The Feast and the Famine,” and “Congregation.”
The group will play at many popular venues during their 2015 tour including several stadium shows at Citi Field in Queens, NY, Fenway Park in Boston, MA, Wrigley Field in Chicago, IL, as well as many elite arenas including The Forum in Los Angeles, CA, Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN, and Sprint Center in Kansas City, MO.
