Heart of Fashion Benefiting Camp Boggy Creek Will Be Held February 10, 2015
(PRWEB) December 04, 2014 -- The Heart of Fashion, a luncheon and fashion show will take place at The Alfond Inn in Winter Park on February 10, 2015. Guests will take part in a fabulous auction, a fashion show by Continuum, and a delightful lunch prepared by a gourmet chef. The presenting sponsor is Nemours Children’s Hospital and all proceeds from this event will benefit Camp Boggy Creek.
LMG, a national provider of video, audio, and lighting support, is assisting in the event. LMG is known for putting on spectacular shows such as the 2012 Bridgestone Super Bowl XLVI Halftime Show and Olympic opening and closing ceremonies. Continuum, a Lake Mary chic boutique, will provide the fashion.
The Heart of Fashion Event held earlier this year in February was a huge success and sold out early in the year thanks to the Committee members, guests and generous sponsors. “We are very grateful to everyone who supported the event” says Diane Holm, Camp Boggy Creek Board Member and Heart of Fashion Event Committee Chair. “This is much more than your typical luncheon and fashion show. The Heart of Fashion is an opportunity to share in the stories that make Camp Boggy Creek what it is—a haven for children with serious illnesses, as well as their families.”
This year, we are pleased to announce that Mrs. Brenda Schwarzkopf will serve as Honorary Chair for the event. Her husband, the late General H. Norman Schwarzkopf was a Founder of Camp Boggy Creek and his legacy to provide a place of hope and joy for children throughout Florida lives on today. Also serving on the event committee are: Chair, Diane Holm; Dana Baumgarten; June Clark; Wendy Durden; Tammy Giaimo; Sarah Hsiao; Dr. Ann McGee; Diane Oxendale, Sigrid Tiedtke and Megan Warlow.
Thank you to our generous event sponsors: Nemours Children’s Hospital, Diane & Eric Holm, Bright House Networks, Golden Corral, LMG, The Martin Andersen-Gracia Andersen Foundation, Continuum, Wendy & Hugh Durden, Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, Roseann Duran, Jane Diange and Hunton Brady Architects.
