Klinedinst Celebrates 5th Year of Supporting the U.S. Marine Toys for Tots Foundation
San Diego, CA (PRWEB) December 08, 2014 -- Klinedinst PC is pleased to once again be named a 2014 National Corporate Donor of the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation.
“2014 marks our fifth straight year of supporting Toys for Tots, on behalf of our clients and employees,” noted John D. When it comes to holiday cheer, no one delivers it better than the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation.”
Since 1947, Toys for Tots has distributed over 470 million toys to over 220 million children across the country. A top-rated charity, 97% of every donation made to Toys for Tots goes directly to the purchase of toys, books, and other gifts. Only 3% is spent on fundraising expenses, and no funds donated go to pay for salaries or other manpower costs. This ratio earned the Foundation a ranking of #77 in the 2013 Philanthropy 400, published by the Chronicle of Philanthropy. Marine Toys for Tots is also an accredited charity by meeting all 20 Standards of the Better Business Bureau Wise Giving Alliance.
