Berkeley Communications Corporation, a leading provider of technology solutions and systems integration, today announced the appointment of Zeki Yasar to the role of Chief Technology Officer. Mr. Yasar will be responsible for shaping the company’s technology strategy, engineering, and research and development operations.

Mr. Yasar has more than 15 years of industry experience in leadership roles, with particular expertise in big data, cloud storage, and converged data center infrastructure. His unique blend of knowledge and experience will play a key role in Berkeley Communications’ growth and future success in these areas.

Before coming to Berkeley Communications, Mr. Yasar spent six years at ePlus, where he most recently served as the Data Center Practice Director. Prior to ePlus, he was the Chief Technology Officer at Quatrio.

Berkeley Communications V.P. of Sales, Rio Wheeler commented, “I’ve had the good fortune of working with Zeki for almost a decade and I can say he is one of a handful of true data technology visionaries, with a special aptitude for seeing how the technology is evolving for practical business use. While others talk about change, Zeki is orchestrating that change. This makes him someone that actually delivers on vision – he is more than rhetoric.”
