We've decided to undergo this anticipated upgrade in order to make our site more user-friendly and to cater toward our increasingly mobile-savvy customers

Smyth Jewelers has unveiled its redesigned e-commerce website in time to serve its customers looking to purchase holiday gifts online.

The new website, http://www.smythjewelers.com, is mobile-friendly with responsive design, meaning it automatically adjusts to fit smart phone screens (including Apple and Android), regardless of the size of the device. Viewing the digital catalog is also easier than ever, and customers can browse the catalog by "flipping the pages" as though they were browsing through a paper catalog.

The site also features a one-page "Checkout" plus a customizable navigation/menu bar that follows users as they scroll down the screen, and unlike many online jewelry store websites, Smyth Jewelers’ is streamlined and clutter-free.

"We've decided to undergo this anticipated upgrade in order to make our site more user-friendly and to cater toward our increasingly mobile-savvy customers," Ruthann Carroll, the Marketing Director at Smyth Jewelers, explains. "We understand that more and more people are visiting websites while on the go, and we want to be accessible for anyone, anytime, anywhere."

Smyth Jewelers has already added detailed product pages to the website for brand-new items and product lines, and customers can also see a sneak-preview of the products that the store will be offering as well. The website has been redesigned to feature popular collections like Uneek and Le Vain; after so many rave reviews about the items in these collections, Smyth Jewelers has been focusing on bolstering its inventory of popular brands.

And of course, since December is the most popular month of the year to get engaged, Smyth Jewelers has made sure to fill the store with a variety of engagement rings to suit any style -- and customers can expect to find the many of these rings online.
