2014 brings exciting changes for both the Russell Athletic and Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus bowls. Both games have a new home field. Orlando’s Citrus Bowl stadium has been rebuilt into a state-of-the-art venue capable of hosting world class events. In addition, the stadium has named Buffalo Wild Wings as their newest title sponsor. The Russell Athletic Bowl will feature the #1 ACC and #2 Big 12 teams (after the CFP series) and will be held on December 29, 2014. The seventh-oldest collegiate bowl game in the country, the Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl will play host to the top Big Ten or ACC teams taking on the top SEC selection (outside of the CFP series) on New Year’s Day.
