The RadBeacon X2 is a Bluetooth Smart™ proximity multi-beacon using iBeacon™ and AltBeacon™ technology that provides seamless proximity services for mobile applications on both iOS and Android mobile devices. Powered by two AA batteries, the RadBeacon X2 provides extended battery life at full iBeacon and AltBeacon-compliant advertising rates. The X2’s fully ruggedized and weatherproof enclosure makes it capable of withstanding extreme temperature and weather conditions. Proximity multi-beacons with iBeacon and AltBeacon technology are short range, low power, Bluetooth Smart transmitters that can notify mobile devices when they come within 100 feet of the beacon.
