Security Industry Association and the American Bus Association to Discuss Bus and Motorcoach Security
Silver Spring, Md. (PRWEB) December 08, 2014 -- Every year, private motorcoaches transport about 700 million people in the United States. Ensuring the safety and security of so many passengers–plus thousands of buses and terminals–is a unique challenge, one that security companies in this market must understand if they are to meet their customers' needs.
On Thursday, Dec. 11 at 1 p.m., the Security Industry Association (SIA) will hold a Security Practitioners Insights webcast with the American Bus Association (ABA) to discuss the security issues faced by Greyhound, Peter Pan, Bolt Bus and other inter-city bus companies.
Join SIA and guest speaker Clyde Hart, ABA Senior Vice President of Government Affairs and Policy, to explore legislative and lobbying efforts in support of legislation and regulations to support the bus and motorcoach industry.

Mr. Hart will discuss important topics such as how federal grant funding from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has assisted transportation and bus security efforts.
This webcast was originally scheduled for Oct. 8.
