For the enterprise attempting to eke out a living in the Wild West of today's cloud file storage and sharing, nCrypted Cloud Enterprise is Wyatt Earp.

nCrypted Cloud Enterprise, the platform that enables extended enterprise collaboration for Dropbox for Business and other cloud storage services, has been named Product of the Year in the Cloud Category by CRN's Test Center. This annual list recognizes the most impressive new products of 2014 based on the ability to offer technological innovation, opportunity and profitability to solution providers over the calendar year.

To determine this year's list, CRN editors collaborated with the CRN Test Center to evaluate the latest products to enter the market. Judges reviewed hundreds of innovative new products and pared the list down to those products that added significant value to the end users, while making an immediate impact on the solution provider community.

According to the CRN Test Center, "For the enterprise attempting to eke out a living in the Wild West of today's cloud file storage and sharing, nCrypted Cloud Enterprise is Wyatt Earp. For about $10 per user, the solution puts a user-managed security layer atop Box, Dropbox, Google Drive or One Drive without burdening the IT department with lots of administrative overhead."

nCrypted Cloud extends Dropbox for Business and other cloud storage services with the nCrypted Cloud Extended Collaboration Platform, a comprehensive cloud-based solution that unifies and secures multiple channels of collaboration required by corporations when sharing data with customers, suppliers and business partners. A broad range of collaboration applications including virtual data rooms, B2B secure portals, medical records management and other applications can be quickly created and managed securely -- without IT involvement. nCrypted Cloud collaboration features include Trusted Sharing, allowing virtual data rooms to be setup in seconds, branded and made highly secure.

"Collaboration across the extended enterprise -- especially for Fortune 500 corporations that are regulated or have sensitive IP -- has been incredibly challenging and fraught with many point solutions," said Nick Stamos, nCrypted Cloud founder and CEO. "Our mission is to protect the free flow of protected information by giving end users the tools they need to collaborate in the cloud, while unifying and securing for corporations the multiple channels of collaboration used when sharing data with customers, suppliers and business partners. We're very gratified to receive this recognition from CRN and the solution partner channel."
