Prior to joining Lucas Group as a Senior Executive Search Consultant three years ago, Martin served as Managing Director at Astor Professional Search where he specialized in lateral placement of partners and associates with law firms and corporations. Martin’s recognized ability to build and maintain a strong network of high-level contacts throughout the Chicago legal market is rooted in his notable experience as a practicing attorney, both for several Chicago firms and within personal practice.

Martin’s experience as a practicing attorney in Chicago included work in private practice with Neal, Gerber & Eisenberg LLP and Adelman, Gettleman, Merens, Berish & Carter, Ltd. While in law school, Martin clerked with the Office of the Attorney General in Wisconsin and was Senior Associate Editor of the Iowa Law Review. He earned his JD from University of Iowa College of Law and holds a BA from The Colorado College.
