A recent white paper study from Gartner puts Ai2 on a very short list of providers for Mobile Sales Force Automation and Order Management solutions.

Ai2 today announced that Gartner, the world’s leading information technology research company, has recognized Ai2 as a sample vendor for mobile sales force automation and order management applications. Gartner’s recent Hype Cycle report by Robert P. Desisto put Ai2 on a very short list of providers for mobile sales applications serving wholesale distributors of consumer packaged goods (CPG) and other sales organizations.

“Mobile sales force automation (SFA) for orders and inventory involves the use of wireless applications from prepackaged, embedded and mobile enterprise application platform (MEAP)-based tools to improve the timeliness, accuracy and currency of order/inventory information. It enables the real-time look-up of inventory status in current locations, as well as other locales or warehouses, along with order submittal. Analytics for historical orders provides a better understanding of customer needs to derive suggested order quantities.”
